In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month the bilingual Inprint Poetry Buskers will be at Harris County Public Library’s FIESTA @ HCPL on Saturday, October 1, from 1 – 4 pm (the Fiesta runs until 5 pm).

The Inprint Poetry Buskers, a troupe of talented local writers and creative writing graduate students from the University of Houston, go to festivals and special events throughout the city spreading the joy of poetry and writing free poems on demand on requested themes using typewriters in English and Spanish.

This free festival will also include live music and dance, craft and activity stations, children’s authors, food, and fun for the whole family, and kids will get free books while supplies last.
