This workshop will focus on many genres of fiction writing, classic and contemporary. We’ll discuss structure, ideas, language and any challenges that you can have as a writer, whether you are a seasoned writer or one just starting out. We’ll focus on novels, but also incorporate the short story. With the understanding that fiction contains universal truths, we will look at pacing, voice, and the quality of the language in the hope of becoming sharper, more astute and nuanced readers and writers. I will bring an unbridled enthusiasm towards the books we discuss as well as workshopping and discussing works-in-progress.
