Celebrated novelists Yiyun Li and Matthew Salesses appeared as part of the 2022/2023 Inprint Margarett Root Brown Reading Series on Monday, January 23, 2023, at Congregation Emanu El. Li and Salesses gave readings from their new novels The Book of Goose and The Sense of Wonder, followed by an on-stage conversation with University of Houston Creative Writing Program faculty member Brenda Peynado.
