Learn more about Inprint Intensive Workshops

Inprint Writers Workshops are considered Houston’s “Best Place for Aspiring Writers” (Houston Press) and are led by accomplished local authors, including students, alumni, and faculty from the prestigious University of Houston Creative Writing Program.

Inprint Intensive Workshops are open to individuals of all backgrounds, including those who are exploring creative writing for the first time, as well as aspiring writers who want to prepare work for publication.

Workshops are conducted in various genres, and focus on a particular aspect of the writing process to give participants a focused 1 -2 day crash course on the subject. Most workshops meet in-person at Inprint House on a Saturday and/or a Sunday for 4 hours per day.

Workshops are led by accomplished local authors, including students, alumni, and faculty from the prestigious University of Houston Creative Writing Program. Most workshops provide time for craft instruction, in-class writing exercises, and sharing of work. Though intensive workshops do not allow time for in-depth feedback of participants’ work, they are a great way to reinvigorate the writing process.

Workshops are limited in size to maintain an intimate workshop environment. To review Inprint’s workshop registration policies, click here.
