Orange Prize finalist Aminatta Forna and International Man Booker finalist Samanta Schweblin read from their novels Happiness and Fever Dream as part of the 2017/2018 Inprint Margarett Root Brown Reading Series on Monday, March 26, 2018, at Stude Concert Hall, Rice University in Houston, Texas. Houston writer and educator Marcela Descalzi read the English portion of Fever Dream along with Samanta Schweblin. The reading was followed by an on-stage interview conducted by University of Houston Downtown faculty member and Houston author of the novel Bang, Daniel Peña.
