There is nothing more fun for a writer than knocking out a ten-minute play! It is a form that lends itself to a wide and wild range of ideas without the heavy demands of developing the 90-120 pages of a full-length script, and yet, it has demands of its own.
Armed with insider information from playwright Gary Garrison’s text A More Perfect Ten, we will study the ins and outs of this popular new art form and create our own versions to read in class. We’ll also discuss the ways of submitting our work to contests across the country, hundreds of them.
