Many non-fiction writers are focused on craft\, but without an equally strong book proposal it’s hard to sustain an agent or editor’s attention. Learn what the main components of a book proposal are\, such as the Overview\, Platform\, Marketing\, and Competitive Title sections\, and learn the ins-and-outs of how to craft a persuasive book proposal. \nWe will discuss different types of book proposals and look at examples of successful proposals\, analyzing why they are effective. We will also workshop and draft portions of your own proposal. Jennifer will share some top tips and maybe even a publishing secret or two. The goal of the class is to have a working draft of your book proposal: one that is confident and compelling. \n URL:https://inprinthouston.org/event/publishing-nonfiction-in-person-2024-415/ LOCATION:Inprint House\, 1520 W Main St\, Houston\, TX\, 77006\, United States CATEGORIES:Inprint Intensive Workshops,Writers Workshops ATTACH;FMTTYPE=image/jpeg:https://inprinthouston.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Inprint.CWW_.12.2025.jpg END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
