The exhibit at Museum of Fine Arts\, Houston–showcasing more than 50 masterworks\, including sketches and letters–follows Van Gogh through four key stages of his career and provides rich content for contemplation and discussion. Sydney Kreuzmann\, Senior Specialist of Participatory Programs at the Museum of Fine Arts\, Houston\, will give a brief talk about the Van Gogh exhibition to jumpstart the program. Following the talk\, writer and Inprint fellow Josie Mitchell will guide attendees in this free hour-and-a-half workshop in response to the exhibition. Experience for yourself the rewards and pleasures of creative writing. \nJosie Mitchell was a recipient of an Inprint Mary Gibbs and Jesse H. Jones Fellowship while earning her MFA in fiction at the University of Houston Creative Writing Program. She was a Non-Fiction Editor for Gulf Coast\, as well as an advisor to the UH undergraduate literary magazine Glass Mountain and Boldface Conference for Emerging Writers. Josie has led the Inprint Senior Memoir Workshop at Finnigan Park since 2016 and has been on the Inprint Poetry Buskers team for several years. She is from San Diego and is at work on an apocalyptic story collection set there. \nLOCATION: This Inprint Writing Workout will take place in the Jamail Conference Room\, located on the mezzanine level of the Museum of Fine Arts’ Audrey Jones Beck Building (5601 Main Street).  Please meet at 5:45 pm in the lobby of the Beck Building\, right outside of the Van Gogh exhibition entrance. The attendees will be escorted to the Jamail Conference Room.  The Inprint Writing Workout will begin at 6 pm. \nTICKETS FOR EXHIBITION: Please note that this Inprint Writing Workout is free and open to the public and admission to the museum is free on Thursdays.
