SUMMARY:INPRINT VETERANS WRITING WORKSHOP
DESCRIPTION:Free for veterans\, military\, and their families\nWriting one’s stories can be a transformative experience. The Inprint Veterans Writing Workshop provides military veterans\, their families\, Gold Star families\, and active military a place to communicate stories. No prior writing experience is needed\, just a passion for storytelling.\nThe transition from military to civilian life is not easy. Years of service provide veterans a wealth of experience but often fail to provide them the tools they need to communicate those experiences. This 6-week Inprint Veterans Writing Workshop will introduce veterans\, military\, and their family members to the work of established veteran authors\, offer military-themed writing prompts to encourage reflection\, and teach the forms and techniques used by successful writers. Participants will leave the workshop connected to a community of fellow veteran storytellers and empowered to share their stories with the civilian world.\n \n  \n
