Writing one’s stories can be a transformative experience. The Inprint Veterans Writing Workshop provides military veterans, their families, Gold Star families, and active military a place to communicate stories. No prior writing experience is needed, just a passion for storytelling.

The transition from military to civilian life is not easy. Years of service provide veterans a wealth of experience but often fail to provide them the tools they need to communicate those experiences. This 6-week Inprint Veterans Writing Workshop will introduce veterans, military, and their family members to the work of established veteran authors, offer military-themed writing prompts to encourage reflection, and teach the forms and techniques used by successful writers. Participants will leave the workshop connected to a community of fellow veteran storytellers and empowered to share their stories with the civilian world.
