The Inprint Senior Memoir Workshops help participants preserve their stories and family histories through a variety of creative writing exercises. Participants will delve firsthand into what makes memoir a unique and captivating literary form. Together participants will learn how to write about the past in a way that brings what one has experienced to life. Whether you are writing for your grandchildren or publication\, these classes will help you find your voice on the page in a fun and supportive environment. \nThe workshop will be led by Houston writer Mary S Dawson\, who has a BA from Rice University and a MFA in fiction writing from Bennington College. Mary S’s love for writing is rooted in her love of teaching writing: she has taught creative writing at Episcopal High School and for the Inprint Teachers as Writers workshops. Mary S serves on the board of Inprint and Gulf Coast: A Journal of Literature and Fine Arts. \nTO REGISTER CLICK HERE and under categories\,  go to the “Lifelong Learning” option. The workshop is tuition free but has a $80 registration fee for JCC members and $105 registration fee for non members. \nThe Inprint Senior Memoir Workshops are generously underwritten by the Samuels Foundation\, Robin Angly and Miles Smith\, and Debbie Gary.
