Inprint Poetry Buskers at #ParkingDayHouston

rda-logo-signature-stampCome by #ParkingDayHouston and visit the Inprint parking space as the Inprint Poetry Buskers, a talented team of Houston writers and graduate students of the University of Houston Creative Writing Program, turn the space into a poetry booth. Tapping into the muse of immediate inspiration and using typewriters, the Inprint Poetry Buskers will write free personalized poems on demand for anyone who stops by. To learn more about the Inprint Poetry Buskers click here. PARK(ing) Day has become a global event wherein paid on-street parking spaces are occupied and temporarily transformed into free public spaces. With co-sponsorship by the Office of City Council Member David Robinson, the Rice Design Alliance organized this year’s event through the Mayor’s Office of Special Events.
