DESCRIPTION:Free and open to the public\, no registration required.  \nJoin Inprint as we celebrate the stories of those enrolled in the Inprint Senior Memoir Workshop at the Finnigan Park Community Center in Houston’s historic Fifth Ward. The workshop participants have been meeting weekly since September to practice the art of memoir writing and will give readings from their work\, sharing touching pieces about their lives\, families\, communities\, and neighborhoods. Workshop instructor Josie Mitchell will make introductory remarks. \nThe Inprint Senior Memoir Workshops have been running at Harris County Precinct One’s Finnigan Park Community Center in the Fifth Ward for more than 20 years. \nThe Inprint Senior Memoir Workshops at Finnigan Park are generously underwritten by Robin Angly and Miles Smith. \n
