DESCRIPTION:Please note that this is an online workshop conducted via Zoom. Participants will be provided information on how to join the online sessions. \nThis workshop is full\, please sign up on the waiting list here so you receive priority registration the next time this class is offered. \nIn this workshop\, we will explore the varied and diverse forms which fall under the umbrella of “creative nonfiction\,” including the personal essay\, braided narratives\, and long-form journalism. The class is open to writers at all stages of their writing journey; however\, we will focus primarily on shorter forms\, as opposed to book-length pieces. Diverse perspectives and experiences are welcomed. Our focus will be on giving all participants the tools they need to become more careful readers and writers of all nonfiction. \n
