In this workshop, we will explore the varied and diverse forms which fall under the umbrella of “creative nonfiction,” including the personal essay, braided narratives, and long-form journalism. The class is open to writers at all stages of their writing journey; however, we will focus primarily on shorter forms, as opposed to book-length pieces. Diverse perspectives and experiences are welcomed. Our focus will be on giving all participants the tools they need to become more careful readers and writers of all nonfiction.
