DESCRIPTION:This is an in-person workshop that takes place at Inprint House. \n \nPIn this weekend intensive\, students will learn the fundamentals of creative nonfiction writing. Studying and experimenting with a wide variety of forms\, students will mine daily life and personal perspectives to write compelling narratives. We will discuss the work of a range of established and emerging contemporary nonfiction writers and will aim for the following learning outcomes: \n\nTo cultivate an understanding and practice of basic creative nonfiction writing techniques through class discussion\, creative and intellectual exploration\, and participant writing\nTo equip participants with various writing prompts and exercises to develop and sustain a writing practice beyond the class\nTo cultivate a community of peer readers to support your work\n\n
