Back by popular demand! This generative 4-week course is designed to kickstart the writing process and ward away writer’s block. Whether you are a seasoned writer or an absolute beginner, you will walk away with the tools to expand a fleeting idea into a poem, micro-memoir or flash fiction piece. Our first sessions will center around finding inspiration in unexpected places. We will be reading and discussing contemporary writers’ notes on process and craft, scouring our surroundings for subject matter, and completing guided activities and challenges that will push us in new directions. Finally, the course will culminate in a workshop and exchange, where we will each give and receive feedback on a short piece generated during the class.
