Cost: $240 Instructor: Mark Haber
This workshop is full

Please note that this is an online workshop conducted via Zoom. Participants will be provided information on how to join the online sessions.

This workshop is designed to benefit those that have some writing experience, either through a previous creative writing class, on their own, through publication, or in some other capacity.

This workshop will look at innovative forms of fiction writing, with special attention to more unconventional narratives as well as finding a character’s/narrator’s voice and playing with time and stream of consciousness. We’ll read and discuss short stories and novels by both contemporary and established authors and see how our writing can be enhanced. This workshop will be a chance to take chances, discover original and ingenious ways to both read and write fiction. Working and sharing of works-in-progress for guidance and feedback will be the primary focus of this class. Participants will be asked to respond to writing prompts outside of the online meeting time and come to class having read assigned pieces.
