George Saunders, celebrated fiction writer and author of the story collection Tenth of December and several other books, gave a “choral” reading, along with five Alley Theatre actors, from his New York Times bestselling novel Lincoln in the Bardo as part of the 2016/2017 Inprint Margarett Root Brown Reading Series on March 6, 2017 at the Alley Theatre in Houston, Texas. The reading was followed by an on-stage interview with Director of the University of Houston Creative Writing Program Alexander Parsons.
