Course #2020-208
Thursdays Starting June 25 6:00 pm–8:00 pm running 6 weeks
Cost: $45 Instructor: Lauren Berry
This workshop is full

Please note that this is an online workshop conducted via Zoom. Participants will be provided information on how to join the online sessions.

This tuition free workshop is only open to  K-12 educators.

As teachers, we take pleasure in the restorative power of language. We are drawn to the practices of reading and writing and appreciate how literature has the power to soothe, heal, energize, galvanize, inspire, and empower. Throughout the academic year we work hard to ensure that our students have access to the empowering force of literature, but we may not be able to devote much time to enjoying it for ourselves.

This generative workshop will allow us to take advantage of the time that summer provides to fuel our own creative spirits— which will then shine more radiantly when we return to our students in the Fall. All genres and experience levels are welcome to join what is sure to be a rejuvenating and productive creative journey.
