DESCRIPTION:This short fiction workshop will be focused exclusively on revision. Students should enter class with a short story which they have workshopped in a previous Inprint workshop (from any instructor) and which they wish to revise. The in-class workshops will be experiments in workshopping the writer’s revision process as much as or more than her written product. Students will revise two stories: one (as mentioned) that they have already workshopped\, and one that will become our course text\, which we will write “together” and keep revisiting each week instead of readings. Expect many exercises and a lot of outside-of-class revision. You will be working on two stories at once. Writers in this course will be asked to try many new approaches.\n \n
