Post-film discussion with author Ben Fountain.
In partnership with Rice University’s Baker Institute for Public Policy and Inprint, the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, presents the latest film by Ang Lee, Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk, based on the novel by author Ben Fountain. Private Billy Lynn becomes a hero after a harrowing Iraq battle. During a victory tour that culminates at the halftime show of a football game, flashbacks reveal what really happened. After watching the film, a discussion will follow with author Ben Fountain and moderated by Inprint executive director Rich Levy.
